The new year ushered in a new chapter for Parkview Legacy Foundation. The inaugural Parkview Legacy Foundation Impact Grant Awards were presented to organizations that address the four focus areas of housing stability, social mobility, whole health accessibility, and integrated solutions, which the Foundation is dedicated to affecting positive, transformative change.
The Board of Directors and staff of Parkview Legacy Foundation received over 50 grant submissions from non-profit organizations that provide vital services to the community. Although each applicant deserved the funding that they requested, the Foundation made a strategic decision to fund larger grant awards to organizations that were creating long-term effects toward one or more of its focus areas.
One of this year's grantees has been positively affecting all of Parkview Legacy Foundation's four focus areas in a holistic fashion, and thus received an inaugural grant award. TruEvolution is an example of integrated solutions in action. The organization exemplifies the Parkview Legacy Foundation mission to advance the equitable probability of wellness through social determinants of health.
